elmoTHUMM
started as a quartet in 1998 featuring the solo voices of Ed Pendleton
and Jason Miller combined with the arrangements, harmonies, and
rhythms of Greg Vaden and Adam Westmoreland. Paul Ellinger joined
the group at the end of the summer of 2000 and the rest, as they
say, is history.
Today, you’ll
find them singing their unique style of classic rock and R&B
balanced with oldies to create a show that has to be seen as well
as heard. elmoTHUMM
continues to innovate with a live percussion tool they have created
(the THUMMstick) and a high-energy show that
is unmatched. While other groups are going to pre-recorded vocal
and drum tracks (we simply consider it “karaoke”),
elmoTHUMM
keeps doing what they love: SINGING. So get ready to move and
have some fun with THUMM ‘cause soon they’ll
be coming to a town near you.
Here’s
an example from one of our press releases:
elmoTHUMM: music you know
by 5 guys singing... and you’ll forget there’s no
band!
With selections from the 50s to present-day, elmoTHUMM
can liven up an event with their spirited act and flexibility
by performing on stage or in the crowd. Their amplified show brings
people in from all around, as they attract listeners from the
ones to the one hundreds with their unusual and strong sound.
For a personal touch, elmoTHUMM
strolls down the aisles, fairways, and even parade routes entertaining
small clusters of folk and bringing a sound no other group can
bring. Take some time, and find out the whole story!
