Hey! Another
great year with Becky and her experienced team in this beautiful
hamlet on the edge of the Irish Hills of Michigan. We entertained
the early squatters along the morning parade route, sang on the
local radio station, sang the anthem before a military color guard,
got an Air Force fly-over, and played on the cable bridge. After
15 elephant ears (3 each: a REAL man's breakfast!) and some slushees,
we jumped on the pavilion stage a little early and put on a rockin'
show. A group of seniors
and a group of kids intermingled in the stands, and we couldn't
tell who loved the show more!
We're back on July 10th in 2004 - OUR FOURTH YEAR IN A ROW! -
and hope to come the night before (Friday) and experience their
great fireworks show on the Raisin River; take a train ride to
Adrian and back, and bring our families. Great town....great festival!
