Greatest Fourth in the North
Lake City, MI
7/7/2003

Another gorgeous sunny, breezy day in Lake City! We camped in the hills, and actually had some time to lay on the beach and launch off of the docks into the lake. Until a German Shepard took a poodle-sized dump in the water, and we all scattered like scared kids. Hilarious! We sang along the parade route before it began, and then sang the National Anthem alongside the Color Guard. Then we went to the school to see if we could sing for free food...no luck, but we were happy to pay, right before they ran out. We watched our friend Joel Tacey perform, and then we tore the stage apart with our rip-roaring, high energy show, and the audience LOVED it! Then we stuck around for some schmoozing and other bands, and we slammed-danced in the inflatable bouncy thing full of bubbles. Then our mommies called us and told us to come home. Dang.
