Another perfect day for an eT performance! The Moms, Mr. Moms, Nannies, Grandmas, and curious came from miles around to downtown Plymouth - and brought an abundance of excited kids with them. We were up for the task. As many of you know, elmoTHUMM puts on a non-stop, high-energy show, and the adults who remember the songs sometimes get up and dance, but the kids ALWAYS do. It's quite a challenge to keep a driving beat and high energy when you have no instruments, but it's fun when our audience is giving it as much effort as we are!
We stayed after the performance for over an hour talking with the kids (and, of course, the pretty moms!) and signing CDs, T-Shirts, and hands, and we were immediately invited back for 2004. The people are still amazed at the sound we bring on an empty stage with no band, and many promised to bring friends and spread the word for next year.
