| What a perfect day for a fair! 85 degrees and sunny in the fields and
75 with a light breeze in the woods. Our stage was completely shaded, and
the area around it so comfortable that when Rachel Kaverman, our wonderful
host, offered us her air-conditioned house to lounge around in, we told
her it wasn't necessary. Thanks for everything you did for us, Rachel, and
tell your mom her chicken dinners and pies were phenomenal! We did 2 sets
on the stage and sang the national anthem before the tractor races, and
otherwise relaxed and took pictures in the woods. Boy, the Irish Hills sure
are gorgeous - some of us are thinking of moving now! |
