| Our summer begins! We hung out with Harold (who bought us lunch and told
us all about the Ovid Historical Society, which he runs) and Deb (who, besides
running an entire fair, had a paper to publish and handled the stress quite
gracefully) and met Carla Wallenda, one of the original flying Wallendas
and daughter of Carl! After pulling our power from a bar across the street,
we banged out our first full-length outdoor show of the summer in high fashion
- with sweat, blood, and our new bowling shirts! The crowd loved it, and
asked us to do more, which we told we'd do NEXT year when we're invited
back.... |
